From Hurghada: 8-Day Luxury Discovery Journey – Hathor Dahabiya Cruise from Luxor to Aswan with Seaside Stay

Day 1: Arrival in Hurghada, meeting with the Easy Trav guide, private transfer and accommodation at the luxury hotel 5* with full board, free program.

Day 2: Depart by luxury transfer in the morning to Luxor and accommodation on the Hathor Dahabiya. Your Nile cruise begins with a bottle of champagne on board. The elegant cabin or suite has a panoramic view of the river. After lunch, you will set off to discover the treasures of Luxor on the east bank of the Nile. You will visit the famous temple complex in Karnak, one of the largest religious buildings in the world, and the magnificent Luxor Temple, which still shines with history and mythology. In the evening, return to the ship, where a delicious dinner and your first night on board await you.

Day 3 : After breakfast on board, you will set off to explore the sights of Luxor’s west bank: the legendary Valley of the Kings, the impressive Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the majestic Colossi of Memnon.  You will then return to Dahabiya where you will enjoy a delicious lunch as the boat sails towards Esna. In the evening, you will relax on board and end the day with a freshly prepared dinner. Overnight on board in Esna.

Day 4: Start the day with a delicious breakfast on board and then visit the ancient necropolis of El Kab with its interesting rock tombs. Then return to the ship and continue the cruise south to Edfu, where you will visit the exceptionally preserved temple of the god Horus. After returning to Dahabiya, enjoy lunch and the ship will head towards the peaceful island of El Ramady.  In the evening, enjoy a magical dinner on the island surrounded by the Nile scenery. Overnight on the ship near the island.

Day 5: Early in the morning, the ship arrives at the mysterious Gebel El Silsila, a narrow rocky pass on the banks of the Nile, which was for centuries the main quarry for sandstone. It is from here that the stone from which the Egyptians built the famous temples in Karnak, Luxor and Edfu comes. After returning on board, you will enjoy breakfast as the ship continues towards Kom Ombo. Here you will visit the unique double temple dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek and the falcon god Horus.  Then, a freshly prepared lunch is served on board during the cruise to Herdyab Island, where you will also be able to enjoy a refreshing swim in the Nile. The journey then continues to one of Aswan's secret islands, where you will end the day. In the evening, you can enjoy free time on board or have an optional dinner on shore. Overnight on board in Aswan.

Day 6: Early morning, optional excursion to the majestic temples of Abu Simbel, a UNESCO World Heritage Site built by Ramesses II.  Enjoy a final breakfast on board and check out.  Before departure, explore the highlights of Aswan, including the sacred Temple of Eset on Philae Island and the impressive Aswan Dam, one of Egypt’s modern engineering wonders. Then, enjoy a luxurious transfer back to Hurghada, where you will stay again at one of the most luxurious hotels in Hurghada, 5* Hotel with full board.

Boat accommodation - CHECK IN from 12:00, CHECK OUT at 8:00.

Optional excursions are not included in the price and are paid separately according to your interest on site with the guide. You can pay in euros or dollars according to the current exchange rate. 

Tipping is given as a gratuity for services provided. On a Nile cruise, it is collected automatically at the end of the accommodation during CHECK OUT, it is for all services on the ship and is collected outside of Easy Trav. We recommend tipping for drivers, guides, assistants.
