Egypt Tour from Hurghada: 12-Day Cairo, Luxor & Red Sea Experience

The next day, private transport brings you to the airport to catch your flight to Cairo. On arrival, the guided sightseeing tour of the pyramids in Cairo will begin, taking in the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx, two of Egypt’s most famous landmarks.

Following lunch, the schedule will lead you to the Grand Egyptian Museum, vast and home to many ancient Egyptian artifacts.

Afterwards, you will check into a 5-star hotel (full board meals, and dinner) included; the rest of the day is on you: take rest or go for shopping.

After breakfast, the day starts with a visit to the Citadel of Salah El Din, one of Egypt’s most famous historical landmarks, built in the 11th century. Inside the Citadel, you will also see the beautiful Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali.  

After that, you will have lunch before continuing the tour to Old Cairo, where you will visit important religious sites such as the Hanging Church and the Mosque of Amr Ibn Al-As.  

In the afternoon, the journey continues to Sakkara, where you will explore some of Egypt’s ancient treasures, including the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the Tomb of Teti, and the Tomb of Kagemni.  

In the evening, after dinner at a restaurant, you will return to your hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay.

This is a free day at your leisure, with the possibility of taking an optional trip to Alexandria. Later, you will depart for Cairo Airport to catch your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, you will be transferred to a 5-star hotel, where you will stay on a full board basis, including all meals.

After breakfast, there is an optional opportunity to enjoy a hot air balloon flight over Luxor during your Red Sea holiday Egypt experience. The day starts with a trip to the Colossi of Memnon which leads into a tour of the Valley of the Kings where visitors will see the burial sites of Egypt's most renowned pharaohs. The program then includes a visit to the impressive Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. The group will have lunch at a nearby restaurant before they proceed with their scheduled activities for the day.

An optional excursion can be arranged to visit the temples of Dendera and Abydos. After breakfast, the program includes a tour of the Karnak Temple Complex, which is considered the largest ancient religious site in the world. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant, and in the afternoon, you will travel back to Hurghada. Accommodation will be in a 5-star all-inclusive hotel.
