Luxury Two-Day Luxor and Aswan Tour from Marsa Alam

Day 1: Departure from the hotel in the morning to Luxor. Visit the east bank of Luxor - Karnak, the largest temple worshipped in history and also known as the birthplace of Amun. It was built at the beginning of the Middle Kingdom. It is one of the most important monuments in Thebes. Then you will move to the Luxor Temple. It was built by Amunhotep III. in the 18th dynasty in the New Kingdom and was completed by Ramesses II. during the 19th dynasty. King Ramses II. was the most famous king in the 19th dynasty. He ruled Egypt for about 67 years. Next, we will go to see the obelisk of Ramses II. After lunch, we will go to discover the west bank of Luxor. The Valley of the Kings, in which the tombs of the pharaohs of the eighteenth and nineteenth dynasties are carved into the rock and the stunning and unusual arrangement of the labyrinth of corridors. We will visit 3 tombs except the tomb of King Tutankhamun. Next are the Colossi of Memnon and finally we will visit the temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Daughter of Thutmose I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years, during the 18th dynasty. Departure to Aswan and accommodation in a 4* hotel, dinner.

Day 2: After breakfast, tour of Aswan, where we will visit the Aswan Dam, an engineering marvel and was built in 1960. From the top of the high dam you can enjoy the view of Lake Nasser, to the south of the Kalabsha Temple and to the north of a huge power plant. We will continue to the unfinished obelisk in a granite quarry, which is made of red granite, which was used to build ancient temples. The last on the program will be the Philae Temple, which is considered one of the most famous, dedicated to the goddess Isis. The Philae Temple is located in a beautiful setting on an island that has been renovated to match its original location. Return to the hotel in Marsa Alam.
