Day 1 – Aswan: Philae Temple & High Dam Exploration

The journey starts with your transfer from your hotel in Aswan or Aswan Airport to your first stop which is the 5-star cruise ship that will take you on your 4-day Royal Adventure Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor. After checking in you should spend time on the Nile River Cruise to relax and enjoy lunch while experiencing the calmness of the boat.

In the afternoon begin exploring the highlights of Aswan with a visit to Philae Island, home to the beautiful Temple of Isis, which was carefully relocated to protect it from flooding after the construction of the High Dam. The Aswan High Dam which construction began in the 1960s presents visitors with stunning views of Lake Nasser which ranks among the largest artificial lakes in the entire world.

Return to the cruise for dinner on board and enjoy a relaxing evening with free time. An optional excursion to a traditional Nubian Village is available for those who wish to experience the vibrant local culture. Overnight on board in Aswan.

Day 2 – Explore Kom Ombo & Edfu

Start the day with the opportunity to take an optional early morning excursion to the magnificent Abu Simbel Temples, one of the most spectacular ancient sites in Egypt; built by Ramesses II.

After returning to the cruise and enjoying lunch on board, continue sailing along the Nile as part of your 4-day Royal Adventure Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor, relaxing while the ship glides peacefully along the river.

Later, arrive at Kom Ombo Temple, the unique double temple dedicated to the gods Sobek and Horus. After the guided visit, continue sailing toward Edfu.

Enjoy dinner on board and a relaxing evening with free time as the cruise continues along the timeless Nile. Overnight on board.

Day 3: From Edfu sailing to Luxor

After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to the remarkable Temple of Horus at Edfu, one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. The temple is consecrated to the god Horus, the falcon. It was built in the year 237 BC during the reign of Ptolemy III Euergetes and was completed around 60 BC under the patronage of Ptolemy XII Auletes. To date, the temple is regarded as one of the largest and most breathtaking of the Ptolemaic era.

After the visit return to your Royal cruise ship and continue sailing toward Luxor, enjoying the relaxing atmosphere of your Nile River Cruise. Lunch and dinner will be served on board while you take in the scenic views of the Nile.

The evening offers you the option to experience an additional Sound and Light Show at Karnak Temple which provides a spectacular first glimpse into Thebes ancient history. You will have free time to spend on the ship until you stay overnight in Luxor.

Day 4: Discover Luxor Highlights & End Your Nile Cruise

After breakfast begin your final day exploring the legendary monuments of Luxor, one of the most fascinating highlights of your 4-day Royal Adventure Nile cruise from Aswan to Luxor.

Begin your day with a stroll to the Old Valley of the Kings, burial ground of some of the most strong and influential pharaohs of ancient Egypt. Here you will be able to trace down to the deeply set tombs richly decorated by ancient artisans deep within desert tombs.

Continue to the impressive Temple of Hatshepsut, the magnificent mortuary temple of Hatshepsut, one of Egypt most powerful female rulers. Nearby, stop to admire the towering Colossi of Memnon, the massive statues of Amenhotep III that have guarded the Theban necropolis for thousands of years.

After lunch at a local restaurant, continue your exploration on the East Bank with a visit to the magnificent Karnak Temple Complex, one of the largest religious complexes ever built in the world. In the afternoon, your memorable Nile River Cruise journey comes to an end.
