In this vibrant, multi-million-inhabitant megacity, ancient history blends seamlessly with modern life. Cairo is a fascinating contrast of narrow alleys in traditional Arab quarters, breathtaking historical monuments, and striking mirrored skyscrapers—where poverty and immense wealth exist side by side.
Your journey begins with a guided visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum, home to over 100,000 original artifacts, ranging from colossal statues of pharaohs to delicate jewelry and ancient papyri thousands of years old. The museum proudly displays the complete treasure collection of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, including his world-famous golden mask.
After the museum, we continue to the last surviving Wonder of the Ancient World—the majestic Great Pyramids of Giza and the enigmatic Sphinx, awe-inspiring in both scale and grandeur. You will also stop at a panoramic viewpoint offering a spectacular sight of all pyramids from one location.
Lunch will be served at a carefully selected restaurant, followed by a visit to a traditional perfume atelier, renowned for authentic Egyptian essences.
In the evening, check in to a 4-star hotel, followed by dinner and overnight stay.
After breakfast, enjoy a private excursion to Saqqara, home to the world’s oldest stone pyramid—the Step Pyramid of Djoser—celebrated for its remarkable geometric precision. You will explore the Teti and Kagemni tombs, richly decorated with ancient reliefs.
Following lunch at a local restaurant, continue to Old Cairo, where history comes alive. Visit the Citadel of Salah El-Din, the impressive Mosque of Mohamed Ali, an ancient Coptic church, and the legendary Khan El Khalili Bazaar—the only truly authentic bazaar in Cairo, offering genuine Oriental carpets, handcrafted decorations, and traditional souvenirs. The powerful national character and atmosphere of these historic sites will leave a lasting impression.
In the evening, transfer to Cairo Airport for your flight back to Sharm El Sheikh, followed by a private transfer to your hotel.
