Luxury Two Day Cairo and Alexandria by Plane from Marsa Alam

Two-day trip by plane to Cairo and Alexandria. Visit to the pyramids, museum, Qaitbay fortress, Catacombs and tour of Alexandria.

Day 1: In the morning, departure from the hotel to the airport in Hurghada. Flight to Cairo. Transfer from the airport to the center of Cairo, where the program begins with a tour of the Grand Egyptian Museum, where there are more than 100,000 original artifacts - from huge statues of the pharaohs to small jewelry and papyri that are thousands of years old. Here you will find the complete collection of treasures of Pharaoh Tutankhamun, including his famous golden mask.

When you talk about a trip to Cairo, you definitely mean the Great Pyramid of Giza, which is very different from the small pyramids scattered in other parts of the Egyptian metropolis. After visiting the museum, we will go to see the last surviving wonder of the world, stunning in its size and monumentality. Seeing  the Sphinx and the Great Pyramids is a truly breathtaking experience! Next, we will go to a panoramic point where all the pyramids are beautifully visible from one place. After this tour, we will have lunch in a restaurant. This is followed by a visit to a papyrus factory and accommodation in a 4 * hotel.

Day 2: Transfer to  Alexandria or the “Northern Riviera” - the second largest city in Egypt, where the main seaport of the country is located, which combines a rich cultural heritage and good recreational areas. Beaches stretch along 20 kilometers of the coast, both in the city and outside it. First we will visit the Library of Alexandria, then we will continue with a tour of the catacombs. Lunch will follow in a restaurant. After lunch we will go to see the ancient Roman theater. Optional trip to the Qaitbay fortress, this option will be offered to you by the guide. Scheduled departure from Cairo in the evening to Hurghada  and transfer back to the hotel.

NOTE -  The Library of Alexandria is closed on Fridays.
