Full-day trip to Luxor from Marsa Alam with a visit to the Karnak Temple, the Colossi of Memnon, the Valley of the Queens and the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Departure from the hotel around 3:30 am. The journey to Luxor takes about 6 hours. Luxor – a city that is often called the world's largest open-air museum. On the east bank you will find the temple of Karnak, which has countless ancient statues, and on the west bank of the Nile you will find the tombs and temple of Queen Hatshepsut. All these monuments are on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Our tour will start in Karnak, then we will stop at the Colossi of Memnon - Amenthotep III. depicting the pharaoh sitting on the throne. You will see the work of workers in the alabaster workshop, where Egyptians hand-make their products (possibility to buy souvenirs). Lunch will follow. After lunch, visit the Valley of the Queens. The last stop will be the temple of Queen Hatshepsut.
Optional trip to Banana Island (this option will be offered by the guide), where you have the opportunity to see a banana plantation, crocodiles, and you will also have a small snack in the form of freshly picked bananas and seasonal fruit. The planned return to the hotel in Marsa Alam is around 11:00 p.m.
