program

Explore Shali, Ancient Temples, and Majestic Tombs in a Day

Early morning departure from the hotel. We will pick you up in front of the hotel and first go to tour the city of Shali. In this city, some buildings are still used for accommodation, but since they are made of salt and mud, they are dilapidated. After this tour, we will move on to visit the Temple of Amun, which is from the 30th dynasty and was visited by Alexander the Great. Then we will go to the salt lakes, where you will have the opportunity to swim, and then we will go to Mount Dakrur (known as the Mountain of Atonement). Lunch will follow in a traditional restaurant. After lunch, we will go to Cleopatra's Spring, where you can relax in a local cafe. The last stop will be the Mountain of the Dead, where we will see a cemetery with more than 2000 tombs. There is an important tomb of Si-Amun, which is richly decorated with paintings of Si-Amun during various rituals. The end of the program is approximately 3:30 PM, and returning to the hotel is around 9:00 PM (depending on the distance from the hotel).
