They are relatives of manatees, they feed on sea grass growing on the bottom and it is said that their observation in the Middle Ages gave rise to legends about mermaids. However, with the influx of tourists to Abu Dabbab beach, it is becoming increasingly rare to see these animals. You will rather come across sea turtles and guitar sharks, which resemble stingrays in their shape. A full-day trip to this beach will guarantee you a beautiful place for snorkeling and relaxation.
